Three years ago, worst episode in Hewlett-Packard’s history started to unveil.First they dismissed their chief executive, then they got rid of the chairman as well of a phone-bugging and identity theft scandal in which members of the board accounted for their secret surveillance of each other in front of Congress.
“It was never my intention to be a whistle-blower. In fact, I was not,” says Tom Perkins, the former head of the nomination and governance committee, with whos help Carly Fiorina, the former chief executive, and Patricia Dunn, the former chairman went down.

Dozens of costumed canines walked the walk in Times Square for the Dog Day Masquerade. Some of the pampered pooches preened while others couldn’t wait to get off the catwalk.
Their costumes were supposed to resemble something from Times Square past or present. The event raised awareness for pet adoption.

Grace Forster Portia, the yorkshire terrier dog, was dressed up as Reese Witherspoonnak (from Legally Blonde).
King, Pimp, Astronaut
There were many professions represented at the event. One of the Bassett Hounds was dressed up as a pimp, though clothings looked more like a geeky aristocrat.
Tequila, the Chihuahua made it further, he was one of the lions from the popular Lion King.
One creative fella dressed his dogs Mindy and Dash to look like they came from some 60s sci-fi movie.
New York, New York
The Judges? Well, the infamous Times Square ‘celebrity’ Robert John Burck was there, playing guitar in white underpants and a cowboy hat. Many dogs had cowboy hats to honor him.
Petey, the 4 years old yorkshire terrier’s costume was composed of metro tickets, while Bella represented the Statue of Freedom. As we know americans are famous for their patriotism, still Max and Herbie were dressed as Venetian Gondolliers.
Fun.
